I was privileged to represent the Council at the Lanyon Christmas Carols and Picnic a few weeks ago. The event with families and friends coming together to share music and song in the grounds of the beautiful Lanyon homestead was a moving example the community spirit of Tuggeranong.

Because of family pressures our long term member, Frank Vrins has offered his resignation from the executive. Frank has served us well over many years and will be missed. Unfortunately this month we lost a good friend when Ross McConnell, a regular participant at our meetings and former committee member passed away. He contributed significantly to the community through his work with the Scouts, rotary and the TCC. He will be well remembered.
