Western Greenway community panel report released

A community report on the potential for urban development in western Greenway has been released, Minister for Planning and Land Management, Mick Gentleman, announced today.

The report was prepared by the western Greenway community panel, a group of key community representatives brought together earlier this year to help explore the suitability of land and potential urban development to the west of Tuggeranong town centre.

Chaired by Dr David Shorthouse, the panel included representatives from Tuggeranong Community Council and other key environment, heritage, community, business and sport and recreation groups.

Tuggeranong Surveys – old and new

What a month. At our last council meeting we heard details how the $27 million committed to improve water quality in Lake Tuggeranong would be spent. We learnt about the proposed nine in-lake and catchment projects and the timeline for implementation. These projects should make a great contribution to improving water quality in Lake Tuggeranong.
