TCC Presents report June 2015

Welcome everybody. It is good to see you out on such a cold night. It is with sadness that I reflect that it was this time last year that Alison Ryan, a dedicated TCC member died last year. In memory of Alison, her children Chloe and Liam put on a Cancer Morning Tea on the 16 May, to which I an a number of the TCC attended. It was a great success with over a 100 people attending.

At our last meeting, we had two developers tell us about their plans to build several hundred residential units in South Quay opposite Bunnings. There will also be commercial premises on Anketell St. The TCC hopes they will succeed in selling the units. We need more …

AGM President’s Report – 1 September 2014

It is a sad year for all of us at Tuggeranong Community Council, when after fighting cancer for a long period, Eric Traise our President passed away. Eric was a retired Royal Australian Air Force Officer from Newcastle who served on the TCC for many years as a general member, Treasurer and TCC President in 2013 and, despite his illness, he stood and was re-elected for a 2nd term in September 2014. More than 140 people attended a Memorial Service for Eric on Friday 14th August, 2015.
