Below are suggested areas where funds should be allocated in the upcoming ACT budget.
Summary of suggestions
1. Funds for maintenance of Lake Tuggeranong – eg enough money to ensure Gross Pollution traps are cleaned as necessary
2. Look to supplement money that the Federal Government is giving to improve water quality to build additional projects to improve water quality in Lake Tuggeranong
3. Feasibility study for transport options in the Tuggeranong Valley
4. Upgrade to Tuggeranong Town Square area
5. Money to upgrade the various town centres in the Valley that Master plans have been developed for eg Kambah Village.
