SouthFest returns bigger and better on Saturday, 15 November 2025, from 10 am to 4 pm. Anketell and Cowlishaw Streets, together with the Health Carpark, will burst into life with over 130 stalls, live music, delicious food, and family-friendly fun.
Markets, Makers, and Creators
Discover local talent and craftsmanship at the bustling market stalls. Browse handmade jewellery from Dizzy Dis Diamonds, Comfy by Jess, and Creations by Lucy; explore homewares by Walnut and Maple, A Frayed Knot, or find unique gifts from Florapod, Pretty Little Tags.
Book lovers can visit ReadMoreBooks, while art enthusiasts will enjoy the work of Carmela Bisignano, Artisan Duo, and Quilting Magic. There’s something for everyone — from Purrfect Pens and Solving Design to Crochet Created by Leslie and Handmade by Nicole.
Food and Drink
Follow your nose to SouthFest’s mouth-watering food precinct. Treat yourself to Mellabella Gelato, Happy Time Donuts, or 10 Yen Cheese Coin CBR. Savour dumplings from The Dumpling Diplomat, tacos from Tacontento, and authentic bites from Shandong Style and Croffle & Co. — washed down with a refreshing Juice Circle creation.
Sports, Health, and Wellbeing
Get moving with Tuggeranong Valley Australian Football and Netball Club, try your hand at Pickleball ACT, or learn about fitness opportunities with Fernwood Fitness Tuggeranong and Curves.
Other health and safety organisations — including ACT Community Policing, ACT Ambulance Service, ACT Fire & Rescue, ACT Rural Fire Service, ACT State Emergency Service, St John Ambulance ACT, and the Guises Creek Rural Fire Service — will also be there to share tips and demonstrations.
Community and Connection
Visit the Community Hub to meet local service groups such as the Tuggeranong Community Council. Rotary Club of Tuggeranong, Lake Tuggeranong Lions Club, Gordon Community Centre, Family History ACT and Canberra Regional Amateur Radio Club. Chat with community leaders.
Other highlights include Tuggeranong Uniting Church, Vinnies, YWCA Canberra, and Bikers Against Child Abuse, all showcasing the heart of Tuggeranong’s volunteering spirit.
Sustainability and Environment Zone
Supported by Icon Water, this popular area features Southern ACT Catchment Group, ACT Healthy Waterways, SEE-Change, Electrify Canberra, ACT NoWaste, and Themeda Farm. Visitors can also explore the EV Car Display, learn about recycling programs, and talk to experts from the Conservation Council ACT Region and EconTech about protecting Lake Tuggeranong and our local environment.
Kids Zone and Family Fun
Families will love the Kids Zone, packed with a jumping castle, face painting, and visits from Spiderman! There’ll be crafts from Curious Kids Canberra, displays by Farrer Playschool, and furry (and not-so-furry) friends thanks to ACT Wildlife and the Canberra Street Cat Alliance. and a visit from Santa and Hephner the Alpaca
Live Music and Entertainment
Two stages will feature an all-day lineup of local performers and community groups, including Raio De Sol Canberra Samba Band, Diversity Dance, and Sassy by Sharmin Aziz. Expect a joyful mix of rhythm, energy, and local talent that’ll have the streets dancing. (Full program released next week!)
