The expanded and refurbished Tuggeranong community Health Centre was officially opened by ACT Chief Minister and Health Minister, Katy Gallagher. on 22 March 2014. After the official ceremony the centre opened its doors to members of the public who were invited to tour the complex. The completion of the project will see the return of services temporarily relocated to Greenway Waters Suites during the refurbishment works. It will also see the return of the Child and Youth Dental Program to Tuggeranong. In the future, the new look centre will house a Walk-In Health Centre and the Community Dialysis service. In opening the expanded and refurbished Health Centre, ACT Chief Minister and Health Minister, Katy Gallagher, said the facility will continue to provide vital services to the community now and into the future. The Tuggeranong Community Council worked with ACT Health to provide input to the project and to keep the community informed throughout the refurbishment program.
