The development of the new Greenway East development currently being undertaken will require a temporary closure of the shared path around Lake Tuggeranong between the 18th of October and the 3rd of November. This temporary closure will affect the section of shared path between the Drakeford Drive underpass (connecting the lake to the northern part of Monash) westwards across the Lake Tuggeranong Weir. The Drakeford Drive underpass will remain open. A temporary and safe diversion will be signposted to redirect path users over the Soward Way bridge to link the eastern and western sides of the lake. I have attached a Temporary Traffic Management Plan to this email illustrating the temporary diversion.
