SouthFest in the Suburbs 2022
Celebrate with over 40 events in the Tuggeranong Valley!
After a two-year hiatus, SouthFest will return to Tuggeranong this November! In 2022, SouthFest has been reimagined from a one-day event with 20,000 visitors, to a three-week program of hyper-local community events throughout Tuggeranong–introducing SouthFest in the Suburbs!
From 5-20 November, over 40 engaging and diverse events will take place with something for everyone. With arts and culture, live music, sport and play, nature and environment, local markets, and community connection opportunities–this is a program you don’t want to miss!
SouthFest in the Suburbs is for the community, by the community. After a few challenging years, Tuggeranong is ready to showcase its suburbs and reconnect with the wonderful Canberra community. Some of the key events include:
- SouthFest Battle of the Bands
- Southside Fringe Fest
- Vikings Sunday Funday
- The Market Wanniassa – Outdoors!
- Nature and heritage walks
- Family fun days
- Market days
- Intergenerational music morning
- neighbourhood parties
