We’re pleased to confirm that Dan Redman from ActewAGL will now be speaking at our October meeting.
Dan will discuss the Home Electrification Program – Oxley Trial, a pilot designed to understand suburb-level readiness for electrification. Oxley was chosen as the preferred ACT suburb, allowing ActewAGL to test practical ways to support households on the path to a fully electric future.
We’ll also provide a short update on the proposed Monaro Rock Quarry Project. The Tuggeranong Community Council has listening to community feedback from the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) consultation, which highlighted ongoing concerns about traffic impacts, dust, noise, and water management. We’ll outline what we’ve heard and the next steps in the process.
