On Friday, 6th May, 2016 a new $1.25 Million Ambulance Station in Greenway, Tuggeranong was officially opened by ACT Government Minister Simon Corbell MLA.   ACT Ambulance Executive  Officers,  Ambulance Officers and Greenway station  administration staff.   ACT MLA Nicole Lawder also attended on the day and all spoke of the need for this regional station to now provide further services to the residents of the Tuggeranong Valley. The new Ambulance Station is located on the corner of Scolley and Reed Streets, Greenway, Tuggeranong Town Centre (old site of the Fire Station) now located in new premises in Gordon.
