At our December community meeting, representatives from NBN Co and their delivery partner ServiceStream provided a detailed briefing on the major fibre-upgrade program now underway across the ACT. This long-term project will see tens of thousands of homes and businesses transition from Fibre to the Node (FTTN) to full fibre (FTTP), bringing higher speeds, improved reliability and a network designed to meet future demand.
The presentation walked residents through what the upgrade means for Tuggeranong: how the survey and construction phases will unfold, what kinds of street works and property access to expect, and how to stay informed as work progresses. With survey activity scheduled to begin across most Tuggeranong suburbs over the coming months, this was a timely opportunity for locals to hear directly from the teams designing and delivering the rollout.
