Shane Rattenbury MLA, Minister for Territory and Municipal Services (TAMS) will be guest speaker at our next TCC meeting on Tuesday, 5 March. (Click on the following link for a copy of the meeting agenda: TCC Agenda 5 March 2013) Mr Rattenbury will brief us on theTuggeranong Town Park Masterplan. This plan compliments the Tuggeranong Masterplan which was released last year and has the support of the TCC. I invite all members and guests to this important meeting to have your say on the Masterplan for Tuggeranong Town Park.
I also wish to invite TCC members and friends to join the Clean Up Australia campaign around the shores of Lake Tuggeranong this weekend. The TCC and Tuggeranong Lake Carers Group (TLC) have joined forces and will be doing their part to help keep our lake clean. We will meet at 10am on Sunday, 3 March, at the Lake Tuggeranong Rowing Club behind the Tuggeranong Library. We will split into two groups each making their way around the Lake and meeting at the Tuggeranong Sea Scout Hall. Any one interested in taking part is advised to wear strong shoes, hat, sunscreen, sun glasses antiseptic hand wash and gloves. Also bring a bottle of water. Rubbish bags will be supplied.
