Invitation to Cotterfest

On 12 October 2013 we will be celebrating the official launch of the Cotter Dam with a community festival called Cotterfest!  Cotterfest is a day of celebration marking the completion of the enlarged Cotter Dam. This milestone is a significant step towards securing water for the ACT region, in this our centenary year. Earlier this year we ran a competition to name a new walking track at the Cotter Reserve. A winner has been chosen and will be announced at 9:00am on 12 October 2013 to kick off the Cotterfest celebrations. This announcement will be made by Richard Begbie who is currently writing a book on the history of Garett Cotter; the Cotter Rivers namesake. I encourage you to attend the festival and join in the celebrations. Please find a program attached (for best results print double sided and fold in half). For more details please visitwww.actew.com.au/cotterfest or follow ACTEW Water on Twitter (https://twitter.com/ACTEWWater) for regular updates.  Access to the festival is via free shuttle bus from Stromlo Forest Park (off Uriarra Road).
