As part of Clean-Up Australia Day, Tuggeranong Lake Carers, with the support of the Tuggeranong Community Council, the Southern ACT Catchment Group, the Tuggeranong Rowing Club and the Tuggeranong Sea Scouts are organising a Clean-Up of Lake Tuggeranong on Sunday 1st March, from 10am to 1pm. Meet and register at the Sea Scout Hall on Mortimer Lewis Drive, East Greenway and bring gloves, a hat and water bottle. If it suits you better you can also register until 11 am at at the back of the Library near the Tuggeranong Community Centre, Cowlishaw St. Tuggeranong.
The Tuggeranong Community Council is putting on a free BBQ near the Scout Hall for all participants from approximately 12.30pm to 130pm.
